1Install & grant macOS permissions.
Open the downloaded Tessen-2.0.6.dmg and drag Tessen into Applications. When you first press your hotkey (Fn or ⌥Space), grant Microphone and Accessibility permissions so Tessen can type directly at your cursor. Walkthrough: Install & Permissions Guide.
2Click "Activate in Tessen.app" or paste your key.
Click the purple Activate in Tessen.app button above to unlock Pro instantly. You can also paste the key manually in Tessen Menu Bar → Licence… (⌘O). Activating your key makes one deliberate call to bind the licence to this Mac, so it cannot simply be copied elsewhere; it carries only the licence token and a one-way hashed device ID, never anything you dictate. Licence checks after that happen on your Mac.
3Stripe emails your payment receipt.
That receipt is proof of purchase, not your licence key — the key is
issued separately by us. If you do not have your key yet, enter the email
address you paid with AND the Key ID from that receipt (it starts with
cs_ or in_) in the box above. If that finds
nothing, email
support@gettessen.com from your
billing address and we will send it to you. Renewals work the same way:
there is no second thank-you page, so that box is where a renewal key is
retrieved.
Manage your subscription
Cancel, update your card, change your billing email, or download past invoices any time at the Tessen billing portal. It is run by Stripe and signs you in by emailing a link to your billing address, so there is no extra account or password to keep.
